REVIVE
The process transforms waste into beautiful, illuminated pieces, highlighting the potential of textile reuse and inspiring sustainable design practices in the lighting industry.

MOULDING  The fabric fiber sheets are getting rewettened before they are put on aconstructed frame.  The fabric-paper then adapts to its new shape after drying.

INTERVENTION WAXApplication of wax through heat reveals new characteristics of the cotton fibre sheets.
Formgiving characteristics go away from organic towards gemoetric shapes.

FORMGIVING WITHIN SEWING 

The lamps consist out of 100% fabric. At any time the whole product can be transformed back into its fibres and reshaped into create a new outcome.

FOLDING PROTOTYPES Testing and experimenting shapes in the beginning of a project supports a natural way of creating multiple versions without overthinking and being stuck with one version.
